The Periodic Atlas
Authored hypothesis · modeled displays
The authored widening helix, its Janet development, and a standalone pentagonal shell-closure comparison. An optional C60 study mounts a reflected bipyramid across one actual cage face; it assigns no element, noble species, or realized application.

What this instrument depicts
This authored hypothesis places all 118 known elements on a non-closing, widening helix with hydrogen at the lower pole and helium at the upper pole. Element order and the n+ℓ and 32-column addresses are fixed receipts; radius, spacing, and camera orientation are modeled display choices. The pentagonal shell-closure guide and optional C60 face study are comparison layers: they do not replace the helix, relabel cage vertices, or establish a realized application.
How to use + read it
Choose the Helical model or Pentagonal closure, then select an oblique, side, axial, or developed view. Drag to turn; pinch, scroll, or use plus and minus to zoom. Select a tile or use Inspect an element. With the canvas focused, arrow keys move through elements and R restores the selected view. Develop performs a Janet cut-and-unroll rather than a camera projection.
The paper’s non-closing, widening helix, with H at the floor and He at the ceiling. Element order and n+ℓ / 32-column addresses are fixed receipts; radius, spacing, and camera orientation are display choices. Shell-closure markers run from Ne through Og. The Develop control performs a Janet cut-and-unroll; it is not a camera projection. Structural addresses remain fixed; comparison guides and the face study do not alter the authored helix. Drag to turn; pinch or scroll to move closer. On the focused surface, arrow keys move between specimens; +/− zoom and R restores the selected view.
